ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a method for improving egg- laying recovery of a moulting hen which comprises administering LH-RH by intramuscular injection to the moulting hen. The inven- tion also relates to an aqueous preparation for use in the pro- cess. LH-RH is a substance belonging to decapeptide stimulating secretion of hormones capable of forming corpus luteum. The duration of moulting of the hen so treated is considerably short- ened and recovery of its egg-laying capability is improved re- sulting in an increase of the total eggs laid during a year.
