ABSTRACT Compounds of the formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof: Image (I) wherein X is phenyl, optionally substituted by one halogen, C1-4 alkyl or C1-4 alkoxy; or pyridyl; R1 is hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; and n is 1 to 6, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and a process for their preparation. The novel compounds of the invention are of value in the prophylaxis or treatment of diseases whose symptoms are controlled by the mediators of the allergic response, for example asthma, hay-fever, rhinitis and allergic eczema.
