GROUND WIRE CONNECTOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A ground wire connector for grounding a conductor on a reel during stringing operations which includes structure for coupling the connector to a reel rotatably mounted on a shaft. A bearing is provided with one portion connectable to the reel so as to rotate therewith and a second portion connectable to the shaft with the one portion rotatable with respect to the second portion. The second portion is coupled with a grounded conductor and the connector provides an electrical path from the reel to the grounded conductor when connected thereto while permitting relative rotation between the reel and grounded conductor.
