1 PHN 9420 ABSTRACT: Artificial reverberation apparatus is of the kind comprising a delay device provided with a feedback circuit and a feed-forward circuit having a gain equal and opposite to that of the feedback circuit if the gain in the delay device is unity. In order to create the effect of a second echo having a different return time while economising on the total amount of delay it is required to provide in the apparatus the reverberation circuit so far mentioned is included in the input to, or the output from, a second delay device and the result- ing combination is provided with its own feedback circuit and feed-forward circuit. In order to economically create the effect of a third echo having yet another return time the resulting circuit may be included in turn in the input to, or the output from, a third delay device the resulting combination being provided with its own feedback circuit and feed-forward circuit.
