AMPLITUDE LIMITING CIRCUIT FOR FREQUENCY MODULATED VIDEO SIGNALS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An amplitude limiting circuit comprises a high-pass filter for passing the high frequency component of a supplied frequency modulated video signal including a signal portion whose centerline of amplitude width is non-linear, a first amplitude limiter for amplitude limiting and amplifying the resulting output of the high-pass filter, a low-pass filter for passing the low frequency component of the supplied frequency modulated video signal, an adder for adding the resulting output signal of the first amplitude limiter and the resulting output of the low-pass filter, and a second amplitude limiter for amplitude limiting the resulting output of the adder.
