METHOD OF USING A PROTEIN MIXTURE DERIVED FROM LIVER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method useful in treating certain disease conditions by virtue of a protein mixture having a variety of disparate properties, such as facilitating wound healing and influencing glucose metabolism. The mixture also exhibits pronounced super- oxide dismutase activity. The composition may supplant or be combined with cortico-steroids to provide anti-inflammatory response while facilitating wound healing. It is useful for treating hepatitis, arthritis, and scar tissue.
