GAS SEPARATOR ABSTRACT A gas separator is provided capable of separating gases and liquids, and especially, of removing and venting gases contained in liquids. The separator is based on a combination of two filters, one of which is wetted by the liquid, and one of which is liquid repellent. The liquid-wetted filter passes the liquid, and the liquid-repellent filter passes the gas.
