ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to improvements in a single facer for manufacturing single-faced corrugated board and more particularly, to a single facer for manu- facturing single-faced corrugated board wherein guide means for moving corrugated medium along the lower half portion of a lower corrugating roll comprises a lower corrugating roll hollow portion, many suction holes, and a cover means, the lower corrugating roll hollow portion being maintained in pressure lower than the atmosphere, the many suction holes extending through the peripheral surface of the lower corrugating roll from the hollow portion, the cover means being located to blockade the suction holes of the upper half portion of the lower corrugating roll between the upper corrugating roll and a pressure roll and to release the medium, which has been delivered from between the lower corrugating roll and the pressure roll, from the lower corrugating roll, only the upper corrugating roll and the pressure roll except the lower corrugating roll, being adapted to be heated through steam. -1-
