9247 ABSTRACT An electrical switch for use as a coding device comprises a body (1) of electrically insulating material carrying first and second bus contacts (2, 3) and a plurality of individual contacts (4), and a plurality of selector members (7) respectively associated with the individual contacts (4) and each operable selectively to connect the associated individual contact (4) with either the first (2) or the second (3) or neither bus contact. The selector members (7) are held in position by a cover (12) having slots (13) through which operating members (14) of the selector members (7) project.
