ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Internal Combustion Elastic Fluid Generator&Turbine Combination A generator for elastic fluids, particularly steam, suitable for use with a steam turbine comprises a rotor having a number of chambers distributed around the surface thereof. As the rotor is rotated the chambers are charged with a combustible mixture such as hydrogen and oxygen, or lpg. and air, for example. Water is injected into the chambers and the mixture ignited, so as to vaporize the water at least partially within the combustion chambers. The mixture of steam and combustion gases maybe connected directly to the input of a turbine. The unit is characterized by its compact size and responsiveness to demand even on start up from cold.
