D-2183 BOTTLE CARRIER WITH PERIPHERAL SKIRT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a bottomless bottle carrier for a pair of bottles and which comprises a pair of side walls flanking wall portions of the bottles, the side walls having mutually inclined upper portions hinged together to provide a top wall, the top wall having a bottle-neck receiving aperture for each bottle and including bottle-neck engaging means by which the load exerted by the bottle is transferred to the carrier to support the bottle when the carrier is lifted, a wrap-around end wall connecting together lower portions of the side walls at each end of the carrier and providing, together with the lower side wall portions, a peripheral skirt to maintain the bottles in close side-by-side relationship, and tying flaps secured together within the carrier connecting together the side walls to limit movement of the upper side wall portions away from one another.
