Implement Assembly With Pivot Connection Abstract An implement assembly includes an implement, such as a blade of a work vehicle, connected to a frame through a pivot connection for pivotally supporting the blade. The blade and frame are closely positioned to the front of the work vehicle for maximum stability and balance of the vehicle. A first apparatus tilts the blade generally vertically and a second apparatus, such as fluid cylinders, moves the blade to selected angular positions relative to the vehicle. The pivotal connection has first, second, and third pivot axes which allows the blade to tilt and angle in various combinations without binding of the blade. A subframe is pivotally connected to the frame and to the second apparatus. The blade moves along the subframe during tilting, and with the subframe during angling. The subframe substantially eliminates lateral movement of the fluid cylinders during angling of the blade and provides for mounting of the blade and frame close to the front of the work vehicle.
