ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Herbicidal and fungicidal triazinediones of the formula: Image wherein R1 is an aliphatic group, and (a) R2 carboxylic acyl, and R2 is hydrogen or aliphatic, or (b) R2 is hydrogen or aliphatic and R3 together with the group X forms a divalent radical Z linking the exocyclic nitrogen with the ring to form a second 5 or 6 membered heterocyclic ring, and X is hydrogen or an aliphatic radical, or together with R3 forms the divalent group Z.
