ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a silicone resin, a s silicone gum and a curing agent therefor, the curing agent comprising 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl peroxide in admixture with a plasticizer and an extender therefor, the extender comprising an alkyl-arylsiloxane or an alkylaralkyl- siloxane fluid. Tapes made by coating a coherent unitary backing with the cured composition exhibit superior peel strengths.
