Abstract of the Disclosure A soil cultivating machine or implement is disclosed of the kind which comprises a plurality of soil working members that are rotatable about substantially vertical, or at least upwardly extending axes. Each soil working member includes a carrier or support provided with at least one elon- gate soil working element which is turnable about an axis relative to that carrier or support. Each element extends downwardly from its carrier or support to penetrate into the soil when the machine or implement is in use. The axis of turnability of each soil working element is in advance of the top of that element with respect to the intended direction of operative rotation of the corresponding soil working member.
