Description

ABSTRACT A channel selector is constituted by a phase locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer which synthesizes a local oscil- lation frequency corresponding to a frequency close to the trans- mitting signal of a desired receiving channel, a search tuning system, a circuit for adding the output of a voltage integrator of the search tuning system during sweeping to an output of a low pass filter of said PLL, a circuit for causing said PLL to be an open loop when the total voltage obtained by the adding circuit reaches a voltage corresponding to the local oscilla- tion frequency, and a circuit for causing the search tuning system to be in the search tuning state for thereafter search- ing the transmitting signal by the search tuning system.
