ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a novel composition for utilisation in dental procedures involving pulp capping, root canal techniques and tooth replanting and a method for its manufacture. The composition comprises a porous mass of a physiologically soluble and compatible calcium phosphate compound. The composition permits the regeneration of tissues in a manner which provides a substantially permanent repair of a tooth and its; supporting structure permitting normal function, and provides improved methods for pulp capping procedures, root canal procedures, tooth replanting procedures and corrective periodontal procedures.
