ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Trivalent chromium electroplating baths develop characteristic faults due to accumulation of trace metal contaminants. A test paper impregnated at either end with two salts is provided for detecting the presence of any excess of trace metal or of ferrocyanide.
