HYDROLYSIS AND MICROBE-RESISTANT THERMOPLASTICALLY PROCESSABLE POLYURETHANE ELASTOMERS, THEIR MANUFACTURE AND USE AS COATING MATERIALS AND MOLDED PARTS Abstract of the Disclosure Polyurethane elastomers ranging in hardness degrees 60 Shore A to 75 Shore D are prepared by reacting polyols having at least 50 percent primary hydroxyl groups, chain extenders and organic diisocyanates in an NCO/OH ratio of 1.05:1 to 1.08:1. These elastomers are hydrolysis and microbe resistant and are thermoplastically processable.
