ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A textile bobbin having a yarn-stop flange formed by a flat base with an outwardly sloping peripheral rim. The flange is provided with apertures each having a resilient tongue integral with the side adjacent the centre. The tongue is offset to facilitate passage of yarn between it and the inner side of the rim. A lug provided on the tongue secures the yarn by wedging it between the tongue and the flange.
