ABSTRACT A metering dispenser for supplying a metered quantity of a viscous liquid comprising a reservoir for a metered quantity of liquid and a piston for expelling the liquid therefrom, first and second sealing rings around the piston preventing inlet of liquid to the reservoir during expulsion of the liqui from the reservoir by the piston and causing suction of any liquid remaining at the outlet back into the reservoir during the return stroke of the piston.
