ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel hair conditioner and color restoring rinse is provided. It is basically an aqueous alcoholic suspension of precipitated sulfur, wherein for each 20 liters of solution the amount of ethanol is 1 - 2 liters, and the amount of pre- cipitated sulfur is 2.25 - 2.75 gm, said suspension having dissolved therein, sodium chloride, in an amount of 2.0 - 2.25 gm, lead acetate, in an amount of 0.15 - 0.25 gm, sodium thiosulfate, in an amount of 0.1 - 0.15 gm, a vegetable extract comprising camomile, in an amount of 90 - 110 ml and glycerine, in an amount of 18 - 22 gm. This product provided a hair conditioner which, among other things, restores the hair to its original color and condition and maintains it is such condition. It also tends to provide a perservative for fragile hair, to strengthen the growth of the hair, to purify the hair and to impart a natural gloss to the hair.
