ABSTRACT_OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a 2-(Dimethylcarbamoyl- imino)-benzthiazolin-3-ide-salt of the general formula Image I in which B(+) represents an alkali metal cation. The compounds of formula I of the invention have wide soil- and leaf- herbicidal action. They can be used for combating mono- and di- cotyledonous weeds.
