ABSTRACT: The invention relates to an injection syringe provided with a cartridge with injection needle, as the case may be a cartridge holder and a needle guard. The cartridge furthermore comprises a safety member with a central bore, which member via the bore is slipped over the needle guard and is connected to the cartridge or cartridge holder by breakage means. The needle guard can only be removed upon removal of the safety member by breakage of the breakage means.
