ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed well apparatus including a wire line running tool assembly on which a well tool may be lowered into a well conduit, and then locked within the well conduit, and released from the assembly, when it is so locked, in re- sponse to manipulation of the wire line, whereby the assembly may be retrieved.
