The present invention pertains to the field of medicine, more precisely to that of pharmacology, and essentially relates to biologically active synthetic derivatives of pyrimidine which are intended for use as antiviral, immuno- stimulating, anti-chlamydia, anti-tuberculosis, psycho-depressive, analgesic and hepatic protection agents. These compounds can further be used in the treatment of malignant tumors as well as in veterinary medicine. The purpose of this invention is to create new chemical compounds having a high and clearly expressed biological activity. To this end, this invention involves synthesising 2,4-dioxo-5-arylidenimino-1,3-pyrimidines of general formula (I) where R is selected from the group comprising H, OH, alkoxyl, halogen, nitrodialkyl, aryl and 3,4-dioxolano. This invention further relates to a general method an to an example of their synthesis, to a list of 25 synthesised and tested substances, to results of their identification as well as to a report concerning a wide comparative and experimental verification of their biological properties and of their toxicity.

Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la médecine, plus précisément à celui de la pharmacologie, et concerne des dérivés synthétiques et bioactifs de pyrimidine que l'on utilise en qualité d'agents antiviraux, immuno-stimulants, anti-chlamydia, antituberculeux, psycho-dépresseurs, analgésiques et de protection hépatique. Ces composés peuvent en outre être utilisés dans le traitement de tumeurs malignes ainsi qu'en médecine vétérinaire. Cette invention a pour but de créer de nouveaux composés chimiques qui possèdent une activité biologique importante et clairement exprimée. A cette fin, on synthétise des 2,4-dioxo-5-arylidenimino-1,3-pyrimidines qui correspondent à la formule générale (I) où R est choisi dans le groupe comprenant H, OH, alcoxyle, halogène, nitrodialkyle, aryle et 3,4-dioxolano. Cette invention concerne également un procédé général et un exemple de leur synthèse, une liste de 25 substances synthétisées et testées, des résultats de leur identification, ainsi qu'un rapport portant sur une vérification comparative et expérimentale étendue de leurs propriétés biologiques et de leur toxicité.
