An apparatus and method of manufacturing a wellscreen (10) for subterranean use in oil, gas, and water wells, incorporating numerous automated processes, whereby layers of mesh (17,18,19,20,21) are continuously sintered to a perforated strip (22), formed into a tube, placed over a perforated base pipe (30), and sealed with end rings (25).
