A material storing and dispensing assembly for storing and discharging hot asphalt material, comprising a vertically-extending vessel having a generally cylindrical shape and a top opening for receiving material, a dispensing cone positioned in the vessel and opposed to the top opening, the dispensing cone having a discharge opening at a distal end for discharging material from the vessel, a first gate enclosed within a gate weldment and adapted for engagement with the discharge opening slidable between one of an open position for releasing material from the vessel through the discharge opening and a closed position for retaining material within the vessel, a second gate having a sealing face adapted for effectively sealing the discharge opening by rotating the second gate from a vertical storage position into a horizontal closed position, a third gate adapted for further cooperating with the first and second gates and slidable between one of an open position for releasing material from the vessel and a closed position for retaining material within the vessel.
Dispositif d'entreposage et de distribution d'un matériau servant à entreposer et à déverser un produit bitumineux chaud. Il est constitué d'un réservoir vertical de forme globalement cylindrique présentant une ouverture supérieure destinée à recevoir le produit, d'un cône de déversement situé dans le réservoir à l'extrémité opposée à l'ouverture supérieure, ce cône de déversement comportant une ouverture de déversement au niveau d'une extrémité distale servant à déverser le produit, une première vanne comprise dans un assemblage soudé de vanne et adaptée à l'ouverture de déversement pour qu'elle s'engage avec elle, cette ouverture de déversement étant susceptible de glisser d'une position ouverte permettant de déverser le produit du réservoir par l'ouverture de déversement à une position fermée permettant de conserver le produit dans le réservoir, une deuxième vanne qui présente une surface hermétique conçue pour fermer hermétiquement l'ouverture de déversement en faisant tourner la deuxième vanne d'une position de stockage verticale à une position fermée horizontale, une troisième vanne étant conçue pour seconder la première et la deuxième et qui peut glisser d'une position ouverte de déversement du produit à une position fermée de retenue du produit dans le réservoir.
