A compact disk receiving device includes a cover (20) pivotably connected to a base (50) with a support plate (50) located therebetween. A shaft (40) is rotatably engaged between two first lugs (23) extending from a side of the cover. The shaft has a first hook member (42) and the support plate has a second hook member (52) which is engageable with the first hook member so that the support plate is able to be slid between the cover and the base. An opposite side of the side having the first hook member is an open side (44) so that two shafts can be piled up by inserting the first hook member of one shaft into the open side of the other shaft.
