There is described a process for manufacturing a single-component cover (10) for filters for vehicles substantially comprising the steps of: providing a starting single-component slab (10); drawing the slab (10) in the central part (34) thereof; reducing the thickness of the external edge (30) of the slab (10), by a bending step followed by a drawing step and three further bending steps, and by trimming the external edge (30); finally forming the external edge (30); punching the slab (10) in the central part (40) thereof; turning the edge in the central drawn part (40) of the slab (10); threading this central hole (42); and seaming the external edge (30) of the slab (10) to a filter-containing cup (14).
Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé pour fabriquer un couvercle en une seule pièce (10) pour filtres de véhicules automobiles. Ce procédé comprend essentiellement les étapes suivantes: fournir une plaque de départ en une seule pièce (10); étirer cette plaque (10) dans sa partie centrale (34); réduire l'épaisseur du bord externe (30) de la plaque (10), par une étape de pliage suivie par une étape d'étirage et par trois autres étapes de pliage, et par rognage dudit bord externe (30); former enfin le bord externe (30); percer la plaque (10) par poinçonnage dans sa partie centrale (40); retourner le bord dans la partie centrale étirée (40) de la plaque (10); fileter ce trou central (42); et souder le bord externe (30) de la plaque (10) à un récipient porte-filtre en forme de cuvette (14).
