Systems and methods for providing zonal isolation in a hydrocarbon well include or utilize a tubular assembly hav-ing an upstream manifold, a gravel packing conduit, a transport conduit, a leak-off conduit, and a downstream flow path. The tubular assembly is adapted to receive a gravel-laden slurry and to direct at least a portion of the same to the gravel packing con-duit. The gravel-laden slurry exiting the gravel packing conduit packs the annulus between the tubular assembly and the wellbore by dehydrating at least in part through the leak-off conduit. The leak-off conduit is further gravel-packed by the gravel- laden slur-ry received by the tubular assembly. The leak-off conduit is dehydrated through a flow control valve. Together, the gravel packed annulus and the gravel packed leak-off conduit provide a gravel-based zonal isolation system.

L'invention porte sur des systèmes et sur des procédés pour réaliser une isolation zonale dans un puits d'hydrocarbure et qui comprennent ou utilisent un ensemble tubulaire comprenant un collecteur amont, un conduit de bourrage de gravier, un conduit de transport, un conduit de fuite et un trajet d'écoulement aval. L'ensemble tubulaire est apte à recevoir une boue chargée de gravier et à diriger au moins une partie de celle-ci vers le conduit de bourrage de gravier. La boue chargée de gravier sortant du conduit de bourrage de gravier bourre l'anneau entre l'ensemble tubulaire et le puits de forage par déshydratation au moins partielle à travers le conduit de fuite. Le conduit de fuite est en outre bourré de gravier par la boue chargée de gravier reçue par l'ensemble tubulaire. Le conduit de fuite est déshydraté par l'intermédiaire d'une vanne de commande d'écoulement. Ensemble, l'anneau bourré de gravier et le conduit de fuite bourré de gravier constituent un système d'isolation zonale à base de gravier.
