This invention comprises a method and apparatus for sterilizing air to be used for such things as pneumatic medical instruments, respirators, cabins for aircraft, clean-rooms, and other such environments where bacteria and germ free air is required. The apparatus is comprised of three chambers with an air inlet and an air outlet. In the second chamber air is heated to approximately 200°C and passed through a replaceable filter. The outcoming resultant air is 100% sterilized.

L'invention porte sur une méthode et un appareil de stérilisation de l'air utilisé dans des instruments médicaux pneumatiques, des respirateurs, des cabines d'avion, des salles blanches et d'autres milieux semblables qui nécessitent un air exempt de toute bactérie et de tout germe. L'appareil comporte trois chambres comprenant une entrée et une sortie d'air. Dans la seconde chambre, l'air est chauffé à près de 200 degrés Celsius et filtré au moyen d'un filtre remplaçable. L'air qui sort de l'appareil est stérilisé à 100 %.
