A scratch resistant coated article is provided which is also resistant to attacks by at least some fluoride-based etchant(s) for at least a period of time by means of an anti-etch layer(s). In certain example embodiments, the anti-etch layer(s) is substantially transparent to visible light. In certain embodiments, a DLC layer(s) may be provided over the anti-etch layer. An underlayer may be provided under the anti-etch layer(s) in certain example embodiments.
L'invention concerne un article enduit résistant aux éraflures qui est également résistant aux attaques d'au moins certains agents d'attaque chimique à base de fluorure pendant au moins une période de temps. Dans certains modes de réalisation, au moins une couche anti-gravure est appliquée sur le substrat en verre afin de protéger ce substrat verre contre les attaques par des agents d'attaque chimique contenant du fluorure. Dans certains modes de réalisation, la ou les couches anti-gravure est/sont sensiblement transparente(s) à la lumière visible. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, une/des couche(s) DLC est/sont appliquée(s) sur la couche anti-gravure. Dans certains modes de réalisation, une sous-couche peut être placée sous la/les couche(s) anti-gravure.
