A medical hollow needle has a cylindrical member 2. At the top edge portion 10 of the cylindrical member 2, an open bevel edge face 11 is provided, open in an oblique direction with respect to the extending direction of the cylindrical member 2. A sub bevel face 12 formed in an oblique direction with respect to the extending direction of the cylindrical member 2 is provided with the top edge portion 10 of the cylindrical member 2 at the position opposed to the open bevel edge face 11. A sharp edge portion 13 is formed bet- ween the open bevel edge face 11 and the sub bevel face 12.
