There is provided an improved booklet bum comprising: a plurality of ultrasonically welded plastic sheet pockets affixed to a first face of a semi-rigid cover, the semi-rigid cover comprising fold lines to allow folding for storage of the booklet album, the fold lines defining a longitudinal spine area; and a rigid spine element affixed the other face of the semi-rigid cover and opposite to said longitudinal spine area so as to impart structure and rigidity to the spine area. Also provided in a modular storage and classification system for holding the booklet album of the present invention. Also provided is a method of making the booklet album of the present invention.
