Vane (60, 90, 102, 120) for use in a rotary vane compressor (30) or other rotaryexpansible chamber device and process for making the vane in which the vane comprises a vane body having a first tip (61, 92, 104, 122), a second tip (63, 94, 106, 124), and a vane body (65, 96, 108, 126) interconnecting the tips. At least one of the first and second tips comprises a metal alloy and a lubricating agent provided in admixture with the metal alloy. The vane body comprises a metal alloy and a plurality of inorganic particles provided in admixture with the metal alloy. The inorganicparticles have a coefficient of thermal expansion which is less than the coefficient of thermal expansion of the metal alloy.

La présente invention a pour objet une palette (60, 90, 102 et 120) pour compresseur rotatif à palettes (30) ou autres appareils rotatifs à chambre d'expansion, ainsi que le procédé pour la fabrication de cette palette qui comporte un corps (65, 96, 108 et 26) compris entre une première extrémité (61, 92, 104 et 122) et une deuxième extrémité (63, 94, 106 et 124). Au moins une des deux extrémités est composée d'un alliage métallique et d'un agent lubrifiant en admixtion dans l'alliage. Le corps de la palette est composé d'un alliage métallique incorporant une pluralité de particules inorganiques en admixtion.
