Abstract of the Disclosure Spherical, cellular silicone rubber microparticles, having internal microcells, are produced with an apparent specific gravity in the range of 0.05 to 0.5 g/cm3 and an average particle size in the range of 10 to 5000 micrometers. The microparticles can be produced by dispersing a foamable, liquid curable silicone rubber composition in a liquid, then contacting this dispersion with a liquid residing at a higher temperature to simultaneously induce foaming and cure of the composition to give the microparticles.
