An apparatus for measuring the flexural resistance of ribberd patterns comprises a clamp for clamping a die-cut and ribbed cardboard sheet, which clamp is so driven as to cause the ribbed portions of the cardboard sheet to engage against one or more rollers which are coupled to corresponding load cells adapted to measure the force necessary for folding the ribbed portions and display this force on a display.

Cette invention concerne un appareil servant à mesurer la résistance à flexion offerte par différents modes d'ondulation et qui comprend une pince d'entraînement d'une feuille de carton ondulé découpée à la presse, ladite pince entraînant les parties ondulées du carton contre un ou plusieurs rouleaux couplés chacun à une cellule dynamométrique adaptée pour mesurer la force nécessaire pour plier les parties ondulées du carton et pour afficher les résultats de mesure.
