A basket-style carrier (10) constructed so as to maintain the carrier open during loading. End panels (16, 16) of the carrier are formed from overlapping end panel flaps (26, 28). Each end panel flap is connected to an individual handle panel support (34) by a fold line. Each overlapping end panel flap includes a wide portion that extends transversely beyond a fold line connecting it to the handle panel support. This causes the two sections to function as a unit, preventing the end panels from collapsing about their fold lines during loading. In addition, a bottom panel forming flap (67, 67) is individually connected to each end panel flap at each end of the carrier. Each bottom panel forming flap is adhered to a bottom panel flap (64).

L'invention concerne un porte-articles (10) du type panier, réalisé pour rester ouvert lorsqu'on le charge. Les panneaux terminaux (16, 16) du porte-articles sont formés de volets (26, 28) de panneaux terminaux qui se chevauchent. Chaque volet de panneau terminal est relié à un panneau individuel (34) formant la poignée, par une ligne de pliage.
