ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention is a stable four blade ice skate that allows the skater to stop with comparable style and greater precision than a single blade ice skate. This is accomplished with: blades having a height approximately 1/8 the maximun width of the shoe; an angle of tilt of approximately 5 degrees when an interior and exterior blade engage the ice; blades having beveled edges on both sides with the inside edges being the sharpest. Included in this invention is a spring plate wire harness combination that allows the skate to be strapped on to an ordinary shoe.
