Disclosed is an adjustable static umbrella with a static mast (2) to which an arm (10) is secured by means of a hinge (12) allowing for the arm to be either adjusted into a use position or collapsed into a rest position and to be tipped about the hinge (12) tilting axle (14) perpendicular to the mast axis. The hinge (12) has a toggle head (80) and a pair of shells (82, 82') symmetrically inverted one to each other, encompassing the toggle head (80) therein and rotatably mounted about the tilting axle (14), while the pair of hinge shells (82, 82') is provided with a length guide perpendicular to the tilting axle (14), in which the arm (10) is inserted. A locking device (90) includes a tilting hinge (92) parallel to the tilting axle (14) and a fastening device (94) allowing for the hinge shells to be pressed one against the other and against the toggle head (80) so that, when said fastening device in the length guide (84) is pulled, the arm cannot be displaced, while the hinge shells (82, 82') encompassing the toggle head cannot be twisted due to pairs of interactive contact surfaces. Releasing the locking device (94) loosens the arm (10) length guide (84), thereby enabling adjustment of the arm, in the area of a tilt angle (.alpha.) limited by two end-stops (116, 116', 118, 120), between a rest position and a use position.
Le parasol statique selon l'invention comprend un mât statique (2) auquel est fixé un bras (10) à l'aide d'une articulation (12) permettant de le mettre soit en position d'utilisation soit en position de retrait et de le faire basculer autour d'un axe d'inclinaison (14) intégré à l'articulation (12) et perpendiculaire à l'axe du mât. L'articulation (12) comprend une tête d'articulation (80) ainsi qu'une paire de coquilles (82, 82') disposées en symétrie inverse, renfermant la tête d'articulation (80) et montées rotatives autour de l'axe d'inclinaison (14), la paire de coquilles d'articulation (82, 82') étant pourvue d'un guide longitudinal perpendiculaire à l'axe d'inclinaison (14), dans lequel le bras vient se loger (10). Un dispositif de blocage (90) contient une articulation de basculement (92) orientée parallèle à l'axe d'inclinaison (14) et un dispositif de fixation (94) permettant de presser les coquilles d'articulation (82, 82') l'une contre l'autre et contre la tête d'articulation (80), en sorte que lorsque la fixation (94) se trouvant dans le guide longitudinal (84) est tirée, le bras ne peut aller de travers, et les coquilles d'articulation (82, 82') renfermant la tête d'articulation ne risquent pas de se tordre, grâce à des surfaces de contact interactives prévues par paires. Le fait de relâcher la fixation (94) libère le guide longitudinal (84) du bras (10), lequel peut être orienté, dans une zone angulaire d'inclinaison ( alpha ) délimitée par deux butées de fin de course (116, 116', 118, 120), entre la position de repos et la position d'utilisation.
