A battery retaining system for securing a battery (16) in a children's ride-on vehicle (12). A battery compartment (14) is disposed on the vehicle and configured to receive the battery (16). A battery compartment lid (20) attaches to the battery compartment. A battery retaining clip (18) is coupled to the battery compartment and is movable between a locked position in which the clip holds the battery in place, and an unlocked position. Optionally, the retaining clip is configured to block installation of the battery compartment lid unless the clip is in the locked position.
L'invention concerne un système de retenue de batterie servant à fixer une batterie (16) dans un véhicule jouet pour enfant (12). Un logement de batterie (14), situé sur le véhicule, est conçu pour loger la batterie (16). Un couvercle de logement de batterie (20) est fixé audit logement. Une bride de retenue de batterie (18), fixée au logement de batterie, peut basculer d'une position verrouillée, dans laquelle elle maintient la batterie en place, à une position ouverte. Cette bride de retenue peut éventuellement être conçue pour empêcher l'installation du couvercle de logement de batterie dès lors qu'elle n'est pas dans sa position verrouillée.
