The invention provides novel methods and means for selecting peptides and for other proteinaceous molecules having specific binding affinity for a target. The binding peptides/proteins are displayed on replicable display packages, preferably phages. The binding peptides are tested for this binding affinity to the target. In one embodiment, the target is provided in the form of peptides displayed on a solid phase, in another the target is presented in a tissue section.

Cette invention concerne de nouveaux procédés et systèmes permettant de sélectionner des peptides ainsi que d'autres molécules protéiniques qui possèdent une affinité de liaison spécifique envers une cible. Ces peptides/protéines de liaison sont affichés sur des paquets d'affichage pouvant être répliqués, de préférence des phages. On teste ensuite l'affinité de liaison envers la cible de ces peptides de liaison. Dans un mode de réalisation, la cible se présente sous forme de peptides qui sont affichés sur une phase solide tandis que, dans un autre mode de réalisation, la cible est présentée dans une section de tissus.
