DISHWASHER DOOR COUNTERWEIGHT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a dishwasher door counterweight which comprises a plastic vessel filled with concrete and positioned on a base support frame for a portable dishwasher. The plastic vessel is provided with a body portion and a seat portion such that the body portion extends along and above a rear bracket for the base support frame between the rear wall and wash tub enclosure wall of the dishwasher. The seat portion matingly engages the base support frame. To lock the counterweight in place, the dishwasher is provided with at least two swivel wheels whose stems pass through apertures in the base support frame adjacent the rear bracket such that the stems abut against the counterweight seat portion. The plastic vessel is provided with handles for facilitating its insertion and removal from the dishwasher.
