Abstract of the Disclosure: Novel 1,3-dioxan-5-yl- alkenyltriazoles of the formula Image where R1 and R2 are identical or different and each is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, Ar is furanyl, thienyl, biphenylyl or naphthyl, or is phenyi which is unsubstituted or substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or alkenyl, each of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, or by fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, nitro, trifluoromethyl or phenoxy, ard X is C=O, -CH(OH)- or -CH(O-COR3)-, where R3 is unsub- stituted or halogen- or alkoxy-substituted alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms or alkenyl of 2 to 5 carbon atoms or aryl, their salts and metal complexes, and their preparation. The novel compounds are plant growth regulators.
