The invention relates to Jack's and particularly to an improved scissors jack with a combined electric motor to raise and lower the jack. The scissors type jack consists of two pressure pads connected by a crossed parallelogram linkage which will maintain the pads in parallel relation. The opposed sides are connected together by a screw and ball nut. The jack is elevated when the switch is turned to the up position which in turn rotates the screw and ball nut. Jack is to be put under a suitable portion of vehicle for lifting.
