A method for three-dimensional segmentation of a target in multislice images of volumetric data includes determining a center and a spread of the target by a parametric fitting of the volumetric data (201), and determining a three- dimensional volume by non-parametric segmentation of the volumetric data iteratively refining the center and spread of the target in the volumetric data (202).

L'invention concerne un procédé de segmentation tridimensionnelle d'une cible dans des images multicoupe de données volumétriques. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à : déterminer le centre et l'étendue de la cible par un réglage paramétrique des données volumétriques (201), et déterminer un volume tridimensionnel par une segmentation non paramétrique des données volumétriques pour affiner de manière itérative le centre et l'étendue de la cible dans les données volumétriques (202).
