A C¿18 ?linear or branched hydroxy, alkoxy poly(ethoxy)-alkoxy with a C¿1? to C¿4? alkyl fragment and an ethoxy number ranging from 1 to 4, amino or mono or di-alkylamino with a C¿1? to C¿4 ?alkyl fragment group, X is ortho-, meta- or paraphenylene, 4,4'-biphenylene, 2,4- or 2,6- or 3,4- or 3,5-pyridinylene, 2,2'-bipyridinylene, meta- or paraphenylenediamino, ethylenediamine, 2,2'-piperazinylene, diacyl of formula -(R¿4?CO)¿2?-, wherein r represents a phenyl radical, a 3 to 10 carbon, phenanthrene or anthracene atoms alkyl chain except 1,4-bis(5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)benzene of 2,4-bis(5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine and of 2,6-bis(5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine, to cosmetic compositions containing said compounds and to the use thereof in the form of sun filters or light-protective agents.

La présente invention a pour objet des composés 5,6-diphényl- 1,2,4~triaziniques de formule générale (I): dans laquelle R1, R2, R3 et R4, identiques ou différents, représentent un atome d'hydrogène, de fluor, de chlore ou de brome, un groupe alkyle linéaire ou ramifé en C1 à C12, hydroxy, alcoxy linéaire ou ramifié en C1 à C18, poly(éthoxy)-alcoxy avec un fragment alkyle en C1 à C4 et le nombre de motif éthoxy compris entre 1 et 4, amino, ou mono- ou di-alkylamino avec un fragment alkyle en C1 à C4, X représente un groupe ortho-, méta- ou para-phénylène, 4,4'-biphénylène, 2,4- ou 2,6- ou 3,4- ou 3,5-pyridinylène, 2,2'-bipyridinylène, méta- ou para-phénylènediamino, éthylènediamino, 2,2'-pipérazinylène, diacyle de formule -(R4CO)2- où R4 représente un radical phényle, une chaîne alkylée de 3 à 10 atomes de carbone, phénanthrène ou anthracène, à l'exception du 1,4-bis(5,6-diphényl-1,2,4- triazin-3~yl)benzène de la 2,4-bis(5,6-diphényl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine et de la 2,6-bis(5,6~diphényl-1,2,4-triazin-3-yl)pyridine, ainsi que les compositions cosmétiques les contenant et leur utilisation comme filtres solaires ou agents protecteurs de la lumière.
