6-(1-Fluoroethyl)-5-iodo-4-aminopyrimidine compounds represented by the general formula (1), a process for preparing the compounds, and pest controllers containing the same as the active ingredient: (1) wherein Ar is phenyl which may have one to three substituents selected from the group consisting of halogeno, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 haloalkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, C1-4 haloalkoxy, and phenoxy, naphthyl, thienyl, indanyl, or 1,4-benzodioxan-6-yl; R is hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl; *1 represents an asymmetric carbon atom; and *2 represents an asymmetric carbon atom when R is C1-4 alkyl.

L'invention concerne des composés 6-(1-fluoroéthyl)-5-iodo-4-aminopyrimidine représentés par la formule générale (1):, un procédé de préparation de ces composés, et des antiparasitaires contenant ces composés en tant qu'ingrédients actifs.
