At least one covering disk (6) is releasably secured to the wheel in order to provide it with a lateral cover. In order to obtain an easy to release and aerodynamically optimum cover, at least one continuous snap-in groove (7) into which the covering disk can snap-in is shaped in the side of the rim profile.
